Subject
AMD Turin platform BIOS downgrading to Agesa 1000 results in an inability and update failed.
Problem
In AMD Turin platform, when using EzFlash, BMC OOB, Web force update, ASUSupdate, AsuslinuxBIOSUpdater tools to downgrade BIOS to Agesa 1000 will resulting in crashes and inability to update successfully.
Solution
Due to ROM layout corrections made after AMD Agesa 1000 version, downgrading to versions before Agesa 1000 is not possible with versions after Agesa 1001,
Therefore, RS501A/RS521A-E12 series models do not allow BIOS versions after 0701 to be downgraded back to BIOS versions before 0402.
