[Motherboard] FTPM prompt will occur upon AM4 or AM5 series motherboards first startup

If your motherboard belongs to AM4 or AM5 platform, when you install with a new CPU for the first time or replace with another CPU, FTPM prompt will occur upon startup, as shown in the following figure:
AM4 series models:

AM5 series models:

The above are all normal phenomena. After you install the CPU on the motherboard and start it for the first time, you will receive a prompt for FTPM. This is because the FTPM firmware of AMD product comes from the CPU, and there may be differences in FTPM when different CPUs are inserted.

You can use text reminders

Option 1: Press Y to enter into OS or BIOS.

Option 2: Press N. If the CPU you are currently using is only for temporary use and will be swapped back to your original CPU in the short term, please press N.

Note: ASUS motherboards undergo CPU assembly testing before leaving from the factory to ensure that all functions of the motherboard are intact. You don't have to worry about the product being non new.
