[Motherboard] ASUS 600-series motherboard PCIe Q-Release function - Introduction
Q-Release is a new eject mechanism for ASUS motherboards with PCIe slots. You can refer to the following steps to unlock the latch of the PCIe slot and easily install or remove the graphics card in the PCIe slot.
Note: Please make sure the system power cable is removed when installing or removing the graphics card

How to use PCIe slot Q-Release to install Graphics Card:
(Example: ROG STRIX Z690-E GAMING WIFI)
Please follow the steps to press the PCIe slot Q-Release button and install the graphics card
1: Press the PCIe slot Q-Release button
2: Make sure the PCIe push latch has been pressed.
3: Install the graphics card in vertical downward direction
How to use PCIe slot Q-Release to remove the graphics card:
Please follow the steps below to press the PCIe slot Q-Release button and remove the graphics card
1: Press the PCIe slot Q-Release button
2: Make sure the PCIe push latch is pressed.
3: Remove the graphics card in vertical upward direction
Q: How to confirm whether the motherboard supports PCIe slot Q-Release function?
A:Please refer to the following steps
1. Login to ASUS website, enter the name of the motherboard you want to check in the search box on the top right corner and click ROG STRIX Z690-E GAMING WIFI
2. Click on [Technical Specifications]
3. Confirm in the [Special Feature] field, as shown below, which shows the motherboard supports PCIe slot Q-Release
