WS X299 SAGE/10G cannot PXE Boot. (Enabled above 4G decoding.) Shows “PXE-EC8: !PXE structure was not found in UNDI driver code segment.”

WS X299 SAGE/10G cannot PXE Boot. (Enabled above 4G decoding.) Shows “PXE-EC8: !PXE structure was not found in UNDI driver code segment.”

Solution is to enable 64-Bit BAR of NIC.

Please download Intel Tool Bootutil from Intel website.

After download, run following command:

bootutil64e → Get NIC Port Name

(In the below command, replace "X" with NIC Port Name)

 

bootutil64e -E

bootutil64e -NIC=X -FLASHENABLE

bootutil64e -NIC=X -64e

bootutil64e -NIC=X -UP=COMBO
