How to create NVMe RAID on Z170-WS?
Before create NVMe RAID, you have to do the following items.
1. Same vendor of SSD.
2. Same form factor. (PCIe form factor NVMe SSD can not be supported)
3. Please refer to QVL below, you can find more PCIe SSD devices.

You can use the following 3 configurations to create NVMe RAID.
1. [M.2x4_1] + [M.2x4_2]
2. [M.2x4_1 + Hyper kit+ NVMe SSD] + [U.2]
3. [M.2x4_1 + Hyper kit+ NVMe SSD] + [M.2x4_2 + Hyper kit+ NVMe SSD]
C: Please refer to the following BIOS setting.
For 2.5 inch form factor (ex: Intel 750 series)
1. Boot>> CSM (Disabled)
2. Advanced>>SATA Mode selection>>RAID
3. Advanced>>PCH Storage Configuration>>M.2x4_1 Hyper kit Mode (Enabled)、 M.2x4_2 Hyper kit Mode (Enabled) or U.2(Enabled)
4. Advanced>>PCH Storage Configuration>>M.2x4_1 PCIE Storage Raid Support (Enabled)、M.2x4_2 PCIE Storage Raid Support (Enabled)
5. Advanced>>Intel(R)Rapid Storage Technology>>create RAID
For M.2 form factor(ex: Samsung 950 pro)
1. Boot>> CSM (Disabled)
2. Advanced>>SATA Mode selection>>RAID
3. Advanced>>PCH Storage Configuration>>M.2x4_1 PCIE Storage Raid Support (Enabled)、M.2x4_2 PCIE Storage Raid Support (Enabled)
4. Advanced>>Intel(R)Rapid Storage Technology>>create RAID
