What is NVIDIA NVLink™ 6?
NVIDIA NVLink™ 6 (NVIDIA NVLink™ 6 High-Speed Interconnect) is the sixth generation of NVIDIA’s proprietary high-speed interconnect technology that enables direct, high-bandwidth, low-latency communication between GPUs. It is designed for large-scale AI and high-performance computing (HPC) systems, allowing multiple GPUs to work together efficiently as a single, unified computing platform.
Compared with the previous generation, NVLink™ 6 provides significantly higher GPU-to-GPU bandwidth and improved scalability, making it well suited for rack-scale AI architectures and large distributed AI workloads where fast data exchange between GPUs is critical.
