NVIDIA Grace CPU Superchip, powering modern data centers

The NVIDIA® Grace CPU Superchip is a technological marvel featuring 144 Arm Neoverse V9 CPU cores with Scalable Vector Extensions (SVE2), powered by NVIDIA NVLink-C2C technology. With an advanced LPDDR5x memory subsystem, it achieves an impressive 1 TB/s bandwidth — twice that of traditional DDR5 — while operating at a minimal power consumption of 500 watts for both the CPU and memory. Boasting double the performance per watt, twice the packaging density and the highest available memory bandwidth, this processing powerhouse is tailor-made for modern data centers. It excels in managing diverse workloads, including AI, high-performance computing (HPC), data analytics and hyperscale cloud applications.

Peak Data-center Efficiency and Comprehensive Cooling Solutions

Designed for both liquid cooling and enhanced air cooling, and based on the latest NVIDIA Grace CPU Superchip, the optimized thermal design effectively maximizes extreme-workload capabilities while minimizing energy demands.

Direct-to-chip cooling solution

ASUS direct-to-chip (D2C) cooling is a quick, simple option that’s based on existing infrastructure. D2C can be deployed quickly, and lower power-usage effectiveness (PUE). ASUS servers can support manifolds and cool plates to enable diverse cooling solutions. Moreover, ASUS servers can support a rear-door heat exchanger that complies with standard rack-server designs, so there’s no need to replace all racks — just the rear door. This lowers the total cost of ownership, and increases data-center utilization ratio.

Air-cooling solution

With the advanced airflow-friendly design, the chassis airflow direction undergoes simulation-based evaluation and fine-tuning for optimal ventilation. Robust fans and high-performance heat sinks ensure efficient heat dissipation, enabling heat to be expelled into the surrounding ambient air for greater energy efficiency and overall savings on system power.

World Records Leadership

ASUS holds the most amount of records in dual-socket (2P) and single-socket (1P) on SPEC CPU 2017 benchmark and dominate the computing performance. These top performance results provide a useful insight into compute-intensive workloads on different computer systems, enabling our customers to reduce complexity, tackle challenging workloads and accelerate system validations.

ASUS servers feature Performance Boost technology to achieve the best server performance and agility by tuning servers to match the requirements of workloads, letting you gain greater control of your server environment. This technology improves workload throughput by maximizing processor frequency and boost power, ideal for timesensitive applications such as financial services or data center operations.
